It is advisable to book online, especially at busy times to guarantee your place as we only seat 10 passengers . There may be last minute availability on the day if you go to the boat or contact us via phone or whatsapp or messenger.
We will always try to change a reservation where availability allows if you contact us more than 48 hours before your original sailing time.
Yes we can take card payments online or onboard.
If we have to cancel the trip for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
Yes – It is quite safe to take a baby on board.
Yes — we are dog friendly, as long as they are well behaved and on a lead. We take a maximum of three dogs on board so please book online where there is a facility to check in a free place for your dog. If you have more dogs please contact us as we will endeavour to accommodate you where possible.
Warm Clothing is recommended. It’s a couple of degrees cooler on the water, please dress accordingly and with our wet climate a waterproof coat is always recommended.
You can carry on a small day pack but when busy we do not have room for large rucksacks or suitcases.
We leave from Tobermory Pontoons, Ledaig, PA75 6NR. Please meet us at by our sign at the top of the pontoons.
Please arrive 10 mins prior to departure time at the departure point. Please arrive with plenty of time to park as there is only one small carpark in town. As our tours run back to back don’t panic if you do not see the boat we will be on our way back in shortly.
No – no-one can guarantee seals or other wildlife and it is a privilege to see these animals in their natural environment where they are free to go where they please. We do however have a resident seal population so we see them on most tours.
Otters are harder to find but we do have regular sightings.
We do on occasion see dolphins and porpoise in the bay. However if you have you heart set on seeing them, we are not the tour for you. There are many excellent companies who specialise in whale watching trips, please contact us and we will happily put you in touch.
No – sorry, we do not do sea fishing as a regular tour. If you have your own equipment please contact us to discuss a private charter.
No – there are toilet facilities at the top of the pontoon in the harbour building.
We are sorry, we do not have disabled facilities. Please be aware there are 3 steep steps down on to the boat but we are here to help so please come and see us to discuss how we can accommodate you. With a little fore thought most people have been able to access the boat.
We are able to take folded wheelchairs on board at quiet times or we can provide storage on land, but please come and see us when you get to Tobermory to discuss.
We are not currently providing refreshments but you are welcome to bring some with you.
